After launching the most gorgeous looking flagship smartphone, the South Korean tech giant company Samsung is gearing up to launch its next smartphone in the “Galaxy Note” series. The company is planning to launch the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 in the second half of this year. According to a leak, the new smartphone is said to come with an infinite display and runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat.
Samsung Galaxy Note 8 comes loaded with a 6.3 inch display which is slightly larger than the Samsung Galaxy S8+ which comes with a 6.2 inch display. The smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC in US models and it will be powered by Exynos 8895 processor in models which are sold outside US. As we saw in the Samsung Galaxy S8, the infinite display on Samsung Galaxy Note 8 may ditch the physical home button. We could also except a fingerprint sensor under the display which was imagined for S8. Ever since Synaptics, a human interface solution developer unveiled the technology which allows to scan fingerprint through glass, many users except Samsung to implement the technology in its flagship smartphones.
The infinite display is just a fancy name which Samsung has used for the near bezel-less display that the Samsung S8 and S8+ comes with. Thin slim bezels on the top and bottom and the curved sides of the flagship smartphone gives them a display ratio of 18:5:9 which gives users an immense experience. According to the leak, the new Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is said to feature an infinte display like the flagship smartphones Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+.
There is also a rumour that the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 may come with a dual camera setup at the rear which will consist of 12 mega-pixel wide-angle CIS supporting dual photodiode and a 13 mega-pixel telephoto CIS. It will also support 3X optical zoom, comes with dual 6P lenses and supports dual OIS also.
Last month, there was a leak which contained the dummy images of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8. In that leak we could see that the smartphone comes with dual camera setup and a possibility of under the screen fingerprint sensor could also be seen as there was no physical finger print sensor. There is no information of the S pen which came along with the previous smartphones of the “Galaxy Note” series.
All the specs mentioned above are just things which we could except in the upcoming smartphone. There is no official information about the smartphone from Samsung. We have to wait till the official information to know whether the mentions specs are true or not.
